  • A favorite quote, memory, or poem you’d like to share

  • Just yourself — your presence is enough

  • Helps reduce isolation by reminding us: "You're not alone."

  • Strengthens memory and voice, both literally and symbolically

 

⏳ Session Duration:

45–60 minutes, guided by a trained volunteer or storytelling facilitator

Volunteers support the group by:

  • Offering gentle prompts or themes (e.g., “Tell us about a time you felt brave”)

  • Holding space with empathy and patience

  • Keeping track of attendance and ensuring each participant feels seen and heard

  • Encouraging all forms of sharing — speaking, listening, or writing silently
