Explore our weekly offerings — spaces for creativity, reflection, healing, and expression for adults living with neurological conditions, as well as for caregivers, companions, and loved ones.

 

Melodies of Me

Mission: A weekly music gathering that fosters connection, emotional release, and self-expression.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, journal or tissues (optional), your presence — just as you are, optional companion.

Benefits: Emotional release, uplifted mood, sense of belonging, creative expression, and hope.

Duration & Format: 60 minutes — 15 min Welcome & Grounding, 30 min Featured Song & Story, 15 min Reflection & Rising.

Who Should Attend: Adults with neurological conditions, caregivers, and companions. No music experience needed.

Notes: Not clinical music therapy. All music licensed or performed with permission.

 

Poems of Still Me Rising

Mission: Weekly poetry sessions reflecting resilience, identity, and hope.

What to Bring: Open heart, journal/sketchpad (optional), quiet space, willingness to read, respond, or receive.

Benefits: Emotional validation, mindfulness, creative self-expression, inner strength.

Duration & Format: 60 minutes — 15 min grounding, 30 min poem reading + response, 15 min reflection.

Who Should Attend: Adults with neurological conditions, caregivers, and community members. No poetry experience required.

Notes: Not clinical therapy.

 

Creative Art Therapy

Mission: Explore emotions, mindfulness, and self-discovery through visual art (drawing, painting, collage).

What to Bring: Art supplies (markers, paper, optional textures or recycled items), open mind.

Benefits: Reduces anxiety, encourages mindfulness, supports emotional release, honors creative voice.

Duration & Format: 45–60 minutes, guided art creation, optional sharing.

Who Should Attend: Adults with neurological conditions, caregivers, and companions. No art experience required.

Notes: Not clinical therapy.

 

Storytelling & Spoken Word

Mission: Share personal stories, memories, or spoken word pieces in a safe, supportive space.

What to Bring: Yourself, optional writing tools or favorite stories/poems.

Benefits: Builds voice and memory, fosters connection, reduces isolation, validates experience.

Duration & Format: 45–60 minutes — sharing, prompts, optional reflection.

Who Should Attend: Adults with neurological conditions, caregivers, companions, and community members.

Notes: Not clinical therapy.

 

Relaxation & Guided Meditation

Mission: Cultivate calm, presence, and mindfulness through guided meditation.

What to Bring: Comfortable seating or lying space, optional music, eye covering, or calming object.

Benefits: Reduces stress, enhances focus, promotes emotional balance, encourages self-care.

Duration & Format: 45–60 minutes, guided breathing, visualization, and reflection.

Who Should Attend: Adults with neurological conditions, caregivers, companions, and anyone seeking mindfulness.

Notes: Not clinical therapy.

 

Mindful Gardening

Mission: Hands-on plant care and sensory exploration to foster calm, connection, and personal growth.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, optional gloves or gardening tools, willingness to engage.

Benefits: Reduces stress, enhances focus and mindfulness, fosters connection to nature and peers, encourages grounded presence and purpose.

Duration & Format: 45–60 minutes, guided planting, care, and reflection activities.

Who Should Attend: Adults with neurological conditions, caregivers, companions, and loved ones.

Notes: Not clinical therapy. Sessions are accessible, inclusive, and affirming.
