  • Use art materials to draw, paint, collage, or simply doodle

  • Explore themes like identity, resilience, hope, or joy through visual expression

  • Reflect together (or quietly) on the process, not the outcome

  • Optional sharing, writing, or storytelling inspired by the artwork

 

🧾 What to Bring:

  • Crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, or paper

  • Any recycled materials or textures you’d like to use

  • No pressure, just a willingness to explore

 

💖 Why It Helps:

  • Reduces anxiety and stress

  • Supports emotional release and self-discovery

  • Encourages mindfulness through focused, creative activity

  • Builds confidence by honoring every participant’s unique artistic voice

 

⏳ Session Duration:

45–60 minutes, gently guided by a trained volunteer with art prompts and time for quiet reflection

 

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Volunteer Note:

Volunteers assist with creative prompts, offer encouragement, and ensure a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Attendance and session feedback are collected after each session.
